Accounts Assistant - Salford Quays - £14,000 - £22,000
Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual with accounts experience to join a major financial company in the Salford Quay's.

Duties;



* Checking and input of bank files downloaded from RBS and Lloyds into Think Link.
* Checking and input of Paypoint files daily when received from Echo, reconciling to bank when funds received.
* Checking and reconciliation of daily client balances listings and transaction summaries generated from Management Reports.
* Checking of debit card payments taken by payments team and advisors as notified through Think Link system, reconciling to bank when funds received.
* Review, investigation and allocation of unallocated receipts on Think Link system on a day to day basis.
* Responsible for maintaining and reconciling spreadsheet of daily and monthly firsts received data.
* Operation of Think Link diary entries as required on a daily basis.
* Checking returned files received from CFH for distributions and settlements export batches.
* Completion of bank summary reconciliations for all client bank accounts.
* Submission of DD collection file to BACS on a daily basis.
* Submission of BACS payment files daily for distributions departments.
* Banking of client monies received on a daily basis, and visiting the RBS to bank all company monies.

* Checking and sign off of settlement files relating to cheque batches exported to CFH weekly.
* Administering and reconciling banking Bacs Payments Workflow. Importing Bacs/Chaps files into Royline and submitting file once authorised.
* Dealing with queries/traces relating to banking Bacs/Chaps.
* Administering refunds to clients, by Bacs/Chaps/Cheques/Debit Cards.
* Input of transfers with limit up to £5000 on to Royline.
* Authorisation of Bacs/ Chaps/ Company Credit Card/ Manual Cheques for Settlements.
* Generation of all income reports from Think Link to allow transfer of earned income.
* Liaison with payments team and banking team in regard to related client monies matters.
* Assisting Client Monies Controller in performing comfort/regression testing of all in-house systems prior to new release.
* Any other duties that are required on an ad hoc basis from time to time.

Preferred Criteria
* Self motivated and committed individual
* Accounts, Reconciliation and Banking experience required.
* Accurate worker
* Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Excel)
* Well organised
