This unit is in good functional and cosmetic condition. The K-series line offered the undisputed best sounds of their day and these are still very much usable today.
On this K1000 the 76 key semi-weighted keybed had been previously serviced with new felt underneath to tighten up the action, which worked well. Since then this keyboard has been used very sparingly, however all keys remain responsive and the front panel switches do their jobs unremarkably. The backlight on the LCD display is weak, common on these models but repairable by a number of vendors. This K1000 also seems to reliably send and receive MIDI messages.
Cosmetically, the chassis in good condition with some scratches and very minor rear panel deformity. Four natural keys in the middle octave have cosmetic blemishes on the top surface (hard to see in the pictures).
Includes an AC power cord.
This is a great sounding, easy to use, top quality professional keyboard. Get outstanding Kurzweil sounds and US-made quality for a very reasonable price!
